Distribution Franchisee is a model that has found acceptance for bringing in private sector efficiency in power distribution at a city level to reduce losses.

Services Provided

The team was involved in complete project development process for Distribution Franchisee for six cities (each as a separate project), comprising the following activities:

Power
    • Baseline parameter establishment
    • Identification of exact area for franchisee and finalization of franchisee model
    • Design of Bidding Document and Distribution Franchisee Agreement (Concession Agreement)
    • Process management for selection of the Franchisee
    • Monitoring and implementation support post selection of Franchisee
